Job description:
One of our DC clients is seeking a Social Media Manager with a passion for cannabis - to spearhead social media operations across DC. Ideal candidates will have experience (with a verifiable track record of success) leading SM efforts in a fast paced start-up-like environment. This role is mostly remote but does require the ability to travel throughout a designated area and meet with people in-person (must be local).

Responsibilities:

• Research, find, organize, prioritize, and grow audience on various Social Media platforms.

• Uncover, pitch, and close new partnerships and collaborations with key brands.

• Develop, define, and refine strategies, tactics, and processes.

• Create, build, and manage SM campaigns of varying sizes with other team members.

• Skills:

• Social Media Marketing and Management (IG, Facebook, etc.)

• Data Analysis (skilled with Excel or Sheets at a minimum)

• SM Brand Sponsorship/Partnership experience.

• Experience with SM Campaign Management from ideation to execution preferred.

• SM post and story design

• Web Design and Content Management experience a big plus.

• Communication

• Work experience in the cannabis industry desired, but not required.

• Excellent writing skills including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

• Vast knowledge of cannabis in various forms preferred.

• Experience with photography, videography, and/or graphics a plus.
