Slurricane - DC Dash

Greetings and happy Saturday! Last night I got to try a stupendous indica called Slurricane, currently available from DC recreational delivery service, DC Dash. As a 60/40 on the indica/sativa spectrum I found its euphoric "feels" to be much more along the lines of a Kush or deeper indica.

A cross of Do-Si-Dos and Purple Punch, Slurricane as a strain is reputed to have sedating effects and to come with a heavy body buzz. This has previously been my experience with Dos-Si-Dos, so I'm not too surprised. I suppose what was most surprising and enjoyable about this bud aside from the mesmerizing and calming effects was the pungent aroma.

Spicy, earthy, but with berry notes on the exhale, the aroma and flavor are best rolled up in a joint to experience the nuances in the exoticness. Though I would say that this bud's status is cured and not super fresh, the quality of the genetics and trichome coverage mean it's still a great one to toke on. That toke, by the way, is smooth but with the spiciness I mentioned - not like a hot pepper, more like a spice cabinet, but hard to discern.
