Initial Thoughts

Coming out of Flower Ave, a DC i-71 cannabis delivery team, check out these Rose Gold Runtz. It was dark when I first received them, but the buds had an exotically funky nose and felt quite soft and spongy to the touch. I could tell from these things alone that it was going to be a highly enjoyable batch. Only after I finally got it into the light did I realize just how potent looking and, frankly, intimidating these buds were visually. 🤩

Appearance

The look of this flower is comparable to rose gold, having a warm look with its colorful purple notches and golden hairs. The shimmer of trichomes resembles the gold embellished appeal.

Status

Nice cure. When gently squeezed, this batch of flower had an intriguing fresh springy feel. Once ground, the fluffy granules were not dry in the slightest.

Aroma

I got a light whiff of roses and berries when I first opened up this garden-fresh bagged eighth. I definitely got more of a classic runtz smell when I broke it down, and this made my mouth begin to water.

Flavor

I enjoyed the flavor of this the whole way through my joint. The sour and creamy mixed wonderfully together, and I believe this is due to the cure that was performed on this flower.

Effects

The effects had me feeling a little bit of everything. I began smoking while listening to some good music to ease my mind after a long day of work. I continued functioning for a short period of time and then I felt myself getting deeper and deeper into thought. I enjoyed the daze for a few and then jolted back into reality with a "whoa" moment. This loop continued for a lengthy duration with me getting lost in the music, the moment, and then coming back again. This strain felt good in my body as well and I even had a sense of rejuvenation the next day.

Conclusion

This is a very balanced, well-rounded high. I'm excited to have had the opportunity to review such a fantastic strain! I felt relief from pain in my body and was also able to enjoy my high while not feeling stuck for too long. In larger doses, I could see this being heavier, but with the one jay I was feeling very spirited.
