Initial Thoughts
If you thought the last batch of Runtz from local craft cannabis cultivator, The Herban Hustle, was awesome then I encourage you to check out this spectacular batch of Pure Michigan I just had the opportunity to indulge in. It might have the travel and tourism slogan for the state of Michigan on the outside, but on the inside it's pure fire.
Appearance
On the website for the state of Michigan the intro video that plays has a bunch of heavily snow covered trees that, frankly, don't hold a candle to these frosty buds. They're mostly purple, have reddish-orange pistils, and are totally trich'd out.
Status
Fresh.
Aroma
The aroma screams pure potency. It's a funky, earthy, spiciness, with a hint of lime. When you crush a bud between your fingers a stark gassy and creamy aroma explodes into the room - with even more hints of lime.
Flavor
Delectable in a funky, gassy, and chemmy way, with hints of earth, spice, and sour fruit.
Lineage
The Pure Michigan strain is a cross of Oreoz and Mendo Breath that runs indica dominant.
Effects
It's been a long time since i've had a feeling of stoniness similar to the first time I partook in the glorious ganja green - and that's what happened in this case. For an indica dominant hybrid, there were actually some uplifting vibes, and certainly some giggles, along with a HUGE body buzz and powerful euphoria. Whatever you do don't forget a water bottle and some snacks. Fantastic for lazy afternoons and evenings.
Conclusion
Taking all aspects into consideration, this is a pretty incredible batch of Pure Michigan and the potency, though the strain typically runs around 29% anyways, is off the charts. Accordingly, we gave it one of our highest review scores ever. To grab some for yourself just hit up The Herban Hustle today and don't forget to tell them you heard about it on Toker's Guide!
