If you haven't had a chance to try District Derp, they're your friendly DC purveyor of dog-painted abstract art and a gifter of consistently great weed. This time around we were stoked to check out a sample of their Pie Hoe, which is one of the most complex and enjoyable aftertastes that I've had recently.
An indica dominant crossbreed of Grape Pie and Tahoe OG, the pie flavor is very evident. But, what kind of pie are we talking about here? That is, indeed, the great question. You would assume a grape pie since that's in the name, however, the Tahoe influence has put a unique spin on the fruitiness of this batch, yielding what is more like a mixed berry pie.
Each hit, though, seemed to have different berry notes. To top it off the aftertaste is in the realm of gassy and skunky. This was the case in either the bowl or rolled in a joint. The joint, in the end, was the way to go, providing the greatest sense of the powerhouse flavor that awaits. What a mouth pleaser!
Regarding effects, there's a great body buzz but the mental energy and physical comfort will leave you desiring to move about and do things versus lounge around and slay your refrigerator. This is the case even though it's said to run 60/40 indica dominant. Note that some indicas are just more energetic than others.
To get some new wall decor and the perfect treat for making the chore of hanging said painting an adventure in and of itself, just give DC i-71 service District Derp a shout today and order up some of this Pie Hoe. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!
