Orange Truffle - The Treehouse DC

It's a really great feeling, for me anyways, when I open up a fresh jar of flower and staring back at me are some pale green, super frosty buds with a massive citrus aroma. I honestly did some fist pumps in the air when I opened this fresh batch of Orange Truffle from newly opened DC recreational storefront The Treehouse.

If you haven't had a chance to check out The Treehouse yet, note that it's from the creators of long-time Toker's Guide fan favorite, Buddha Buddy, and has a clean and beautifully designed interior. Located above Lulu's juice and coffee bar in the Foggy Bottom area of Washington DC, it truly has the feeling of a treehouse perched a bit above the sidewalk and bustling pedestrian activity below. Just like Buddha Buddy, they've got high quality flower on hand and in jars ready for connoisseur clientele.

Also known as Orange Truffle Soufflé, this is a sativa dominant hybrid cross of Orange Julius and Garlic Butter with a mega orange citrusy aroma and flavor. Note that I felt the effects of this batch were much more balanced than sativa-heavy, however. Nevertheless, it packs quit the heady buzz and the flavor, the flavor, the flavor....yum. 😋
