Overall Rating: 9/10 |
Lean: Slightly Indica Dominant |
Initial Thoughts:
This is an excellent new batch of Lemon Cherry Gelato (LCG) from DC i-71 storefront The Garden. It's fresh and its aroma is out of this world delicious. It also has that head-storming citrusy LCG buzz I've come to know and love, but at even greater potency than before. Total fire!
Appearance:
Bright green buds with starry and white trichomes everywhere. The buds are spear-shaped, relatively dense, with a soft and gritty feel when breaking it up by hand.
Status:
Fresh!
Aroma:
Citrusy lemon, gas, skunk, and cream all in one jar.
Flavor:
Absolutely delicious with citrus, sour, and piney notes at first which fade to a tangy, creamy Gelato-esque aftertaste.
Lineage:
Gelato is a cross of Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) and Sunset Sherbert. The Lemon Cherry Gelato pheno has been selectively bred to achieve especially citrusy and tart notes. However, in this case, I wouldn't doubt the addition of some other genetics to make it extra intense.
Effects:
This is a surprisingly energetic indica for me given that it is supposed to run around 60/40 indica heavy. Perhaps it's my mind mistaking the very cerebral buzz with the sativas I normally partake in during the day, but I have no issues maintaining focus or energy levels with this batch. The buzz is tremendously intense, uplifting, cerebral, and raises the bar in terms of euphoria levels following just a couple bong rips.
Conclusion:
This is a must try for all DC connoisseurs. Make your way with the quickness to The Garden to get your hands on some of this phenomenal LCG for your weekend enjoyment. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!
