Initial Thoughts
From my experience Grape strains tend to be a fan favorite for the indica-loving portion of the cannabis community. That's why, as an indica-lover myself, I was super excited to review this batch of Grape Bubblegum cultivated by Verano. It can be found throughout Maryland, and is almost always in stock at Verano's medical cannabis dispensaries in Germantown and Elkridge. A cross of hard hitters GMO and Purple Punch I expect it to be pungent and potent with a grape-like nose. 🍇
Appearance
Compact green and purple buds hiding behind a sea of sparkling trichomes.
Status
Curing and a bit crisp to the touch, yet very packable in a vape, bowl, or rolling up however you like.
Aroma
When opening a jar with GMO in its lineage, it tends to smack you across the nose with the pungent odor of gassiness. This was no different, except the Purple Punch influence was also obvious with its sweeter and fruitier earthiness.
Flavor
Garlicky GMO skunkiness with grape notes and hints of earthiness in the aftertaste.

Effects
This strain is nothing short of sedating. With the first hit I felt the effects of the myrcene at once and my eyes started to droop. I could feel the tension releasing throughout my body as I entered a relaxed state and my mind felt completely at ease as well. Soon, I decided to finish everything I needed to before I got too sleepy to bare being up any longer. Then I enjoyed vegetating and streaming shows until I fell asleep in the blissful comfort of my bed.
Conclusion
The powerful effects of this grapey strain hit me exactly where I was anticipating and if I had to use one word to describe the whole experience it would be "scrumdiddlyumptious". It is not hard to see why it's a favorite of many Verano employees I've talked with. They note that it is still grown in memory of Maryland local, Rony - a cherished, passionate soul in the cannabis industry who introduced and fine tuned this cultivar when he was with them - to this day.
