Initial Thoughts
Fresaz is a sativa dominant strain that immediately caught my attention because of its exotic appearance. Of course, what else would you expect from a DC i-71 cannabis delivery service by the name of Exotic Organics? If the name of the strain is based on Fresa, the Spanish word for strawberry, but with "Z" on the end, then this would also indicate its exotic level - think Z for Za-Za. What I really want to know, though, is does it taste like strawberries? 🍓
Appearance
These buds are covered in yellow hued trichomes leaving just enough room for the beautiful purples and greens to poke on through. It’s complemented by a small amount of fiery orange pistils.
Structure
Nice sized buds that squished nicely into my grinder. Dense but still holding some moisture.

The sweet and fruity notes of strawberry initially filled the air, that is until the underlying hints of creamy sweetness and earthiness took over.
Flavor
The slight berry flavor kisses the tongue, accompanied by musky and gassy notes on the inhale. The aftertaste left a slightly minty cocoa flavor.
Lineage
The parents of this strain are nowhere to be found. This abandoned baby leans 70/30 sativa dominant in my experience.
Effects
From the moment I took my first toke of this Fresaz I could tell its potency was immense. It sent me into an almost psychedelic state where it seemed like my vision was playing tricks on me. It’s also a very mentally racey strain and my mind became a playground of running thoughts and heightened creativity. Then the munchies took over and the only thing I could think about was what to eat next. There were not many noticeable effects on my body as this strain mainly affected my mental state.
Conclusion
Fresaz embodies a complex flavor profile, mind altering effects, and boasts a beautiful bud composition. This strain is strong, and leaves you stoned, but not the same as a heavy indica would. Since it is a sativa and the effects leave you wanting anything but sleep, I recommend using this strain earlier in the day to get the most out of its effects.
