Initial Thoughts
This Devil Driver, grown by District Cannabis and currently available from Baltimore area marijuana dispensary Chesacanna, is comprised of two popular strains, Melonade and Sundae Driver. With a sativa lean and high THC content ranging from 28% - 30%, this will probably get me pretty rev'd up and certainly isn’t for the faint of heart. Regardless, I’m excited to pack a bowl and hit the gas! 🏎️
Appearance
A myriad of deep purple and dark, forest green sugar leaves dominate covered by a
visually pleasing, consistent layer of milky trichomes.
Status
Curing.
Aroma
Tropical fruit, citrus, peach, grape, mild lemon, melon, sour pineapple.
Flavor
Grape, wildflower honey, lemon zest, cinnamon, pepper.
Lineage
The Devil Driver strain is a cross of Melonade and Sundae Driver that runs sativa dominant.
Effects
A refreshing wave of clarity and creativity immediately raced into my head. This was followed up with a tingling sensation on the temples coupled with some welcomed
euphoria. As the high shifted gears I experienced a surge of feel good energy and positive vibes. It was smooth cruising all the way through for me, but I could see it being problematic for the newbies.
Conclusion
This is one energetic sativa dominant hybrid that has devilishly high potency. It possesses all the high octane elements to keep your head right and your motor running from the first wake and bake of the day all the way through until the night. Given its great cerebral buzz along with the creativity and clarity needed to face the day, Devil Driver won’t be leaving my rotation for quite some time.
