Initial Thoughts
Lucky Chuckie has been bringing some really nice flower to our attention recently. For example, this Candy Gas is a rare and exotic hybrid with balanced effects that I'm currently pretty stoked about. With it's soft and supple qualities, bright white trichomes, and gassy aroma, it's a solid specimen for me to jump in head first with this strain - one I haven't had the opportunity to try before.
Appearance
Smaller, mostly purple buds with lots of white trichomes and fiery orange pistils.
Status
Curing, but the aroma is still on point.
Aroma
Gassy and piney with some creamy notes.
Flavor
Piney with a gassy, creamy, and skunky aftertaste.
Lineage
The Candy Gas strain is a cross of Bacio Gelato and Runtz that runs evenly balanced at roughly 50/50.
Effects
I found this batch quite uplifting despite the 50/50 claim and, of course, possessing an awesome Runtz-like body buzz. The euphoric effects were for real, but there was nothing edgy about the physical or cerebral aspects of the high. Just an old fashioned good-natured stoney experience with zero couch lock.
Conclusion
Great for rolling up at parties or before events that require some social interaction, this Candy Gas is one to put on your radar for this upcoming weekend.
