Initial Thoughts
With a delicously creamy, funky, Gelato-esque aroma this Bubblelato from DC i-71 cannabis delivery service, Exotic Organics, is one batch that I'm stoked to roll up right now. The buds are still soft and supple and I'm betting that when I break it up there will be an even more intense aroma with some bubblegum notes. 🫧
Appearance
Green and purple buds dusted with white trichomes and the occasional twinkle of some starry trich's to let you know it's still on the fresh side.
Status
Just beginning to cure.
Aroma
The aroma is the best part and the Gelato funk runs strong with this cut. It's creamy, sour, piney, sweet and fruity all at once.
Flavor
A very complex flavor profile with notes of heavy cream, chem, pine, and sour fruit. Super exotic and delectable in any format.
Lineage
The Bubblelato strain is a cross of Gelato #45 and Indiana Bubblegum (Afghani Landrace X Bubblegum) that runs slightly indica dominant at 60/40.
Effects
This bud is stupefying at first and I stood completely still, eyes closed, as the initial head rush and wave of euphoria washed over me. I felt both mesmerized and warm and fuzzy all at the same time. The world was somehow softer and more colorful and I was in my happy place for pretty much the whole afternoon afterwards. Its energy is calming, but there's no couch lock and I had no trouble making moves during the day or resting following an evening session.
Conclusion
Overall, I immensely enjoyed the long lasting high of this potent and exotic Bubblelato. As a Gelato enthusiast, it was more calming than some of the more balanced pheno's and crosses out there, but I enjoyed the relaxation and loved loved loved the awesome flavor.
